| TIC is a cable that allows use the
Amiga or PC instead of Timex FDD 3000. On the one side TI-of-TTL is
connected, on the other PARALLEL or LPT of the server computer. The
server software allows to use hard disk and mouse of server computer.
Standard cable has 1.5m length. On a wish, can be longer (what can slow the transmission a bit). |
| TI-of-TTL is a Timex Interface M-397 replacer, build from TTL chips only. Apart from TOS (upgraded to work with ZX128, too) in the extended memory there is ZXVGS and also keyboard test code. |
| YABUS.TF expands memory to 256kB DRAM and 8kB EPROM. Two YAMOD modules can be connected. Extension dedicated to Timex FDD 3000 with big main board (not those based on Timex FDD 3), that has soldering points on the right hand side, marked as P9. Allows to connect hard disk and run operating systems as UZI, also run software for Z88. Beside you can see the inside with YABUS.TF plugged in. The slots on YABUS.TF are arranged so one YAMOD board is under and secoond is over a drive (this applies to 1" high drive, e.g. FDD 3.5" or HDD). | |
