ZXVGS

Operating system for ZX Spectrum compatibile computers. Supports 4MB RAM, floppy and hard disks, network, mouse, resident extentions (TAP, Z80, SLT, BMP, SCR files).

Now there are versions for following platforms:

• Sam Coupe (FDD, Atom),
• TI-of-TTL with file server,
• Warajevo emulator,
• PL3MEM interface (IDE) or upgraded ZX Spectrum +3 (FDD),
• Pentagon 512kB (or TR-DOS interface),
• upgraded Unipolbrit (Timex 2068) with file server,
• MB-02 interface (FDD, HDD),
• ZXATASP/ZXCF interface (IDE),
• FlashD0 (128kB PEROM) and YAMOD.ATBUS (IDE).

• Plus D interface with extra memory (FDD, HDD),
• ZS Scorpion 256kB (FDD, HDD),
• 4MB RAM and YAMOD.ATBUS (IDE) or other interface,
• DivIDE interface (IDE).

Mass storage

Now are used CP/M filesystem or file server (full duplex 6 bit cable). In future Disk Objects will be used (formely called Virtual Disks), what allows easy to change disk formats and read files from disks of different formats (FAT, UZI).

Resident System Extensions

Are loadaded in case of need (from *.RZX files) and increase system abilities. For example they can:

• Load emulator files, like TAP, Z80 and SCL.
• Load pictures from files, like Z80 and BMP.
• Extend BASIC syntax, like SCL and BZX.
• Contain printer driver, like EPSONFX.

Release 0.36

Reprogammable PEROM-disk with CP/M structure. Versions FD0 and P3M will offer its PEROM as PEROM-disk. Other versions - TMX, UPB, ASP, MB2 - will detect the FlashD0 upgrade, test if contains a PEROM-disk and mount it.

CP/M disk tables will be allocated dinamicly. In 0.35 have fixed size.

Release 0.37

Support for FAT12 and FAT16 is planned as read-only. The CP/M and network disks will work as before.

ZXVGS FD0 - FlashD0 (128kB PEROM)

ZXVGS for FlashD0 (128kB PEROM) for ZX Spectrum. Works with 128kB, TC2144 and 4MB RAM. Supports many IDE and floppy interfaces.
